We have a VENUE.......... The 6th USS Downes Navy Reunion is
April 24th -27th, 2025
Hoilday Inn Arlington, TX
***If you are interested in booking a room at the Holiday Inn in Arlington, Tx for the 2025 reunion, the phone number is 817-460-2500. Please use "USS Downes reunion". The rate is $149 per night for standard and king. $159 a night for a suite, each room comes with two free complementary breakfast each day. ASK for Shadow please - she will be happy to help you out!!
They have free shuttle service from the airport, which nobody else had. They were within our budget for the reunion. As well they could hold our group. We have a great reunion planned. I hope you can join us**
Christmas Card are about ready to go out. I hope within the next few weeks. Enclosed will be the reunon forms as well as a form for a raffle for a 26" replica of the Downes 1070. It is a beautifully bulit handmaked wooden ship. I will be posting photo's as they come in.
